SuperSlicer – V:2.7.61.X: Release Status Update

2025-May-5 | 2.7.61.X, 2.7.X.X, Beta - Public, Bug Fixes, News

We would like to take a minute to share a quick status update.

Today was originally scheduled as a two week bug fix release for any of projects on our existing Roadmap found here.

As everyone knows out team is made up of volunteers, and we all have professional commitments as well. This last two weeks has been a bit of a heavier period for some of our team members, hence only 1 bug was patched within SuperSlicer and we may have also gotten the gcode-viewer functional again. Additionally we are taking a little time to update the Linux and MacOS build scripts to try and address some edge case challenges some people are having.

What does this mean? There will be no release tonight. Given this we are projecting the ability to do a release on our next scheduled day, which would be 2025-05-19.

We wanted to keep every updated and in the loop, and not just be quiet on this.

As usual we are thankful for the positive support we have received from so many people with the 2.7.61.X Beta Release Line.

As always we welcome anyone and everyone to join our Discord and interact with us more directly. Our Discord channels should be the first point of contact in regards to any challenges that are discovered. In a huge number of cases we can help you find a way to get back to printing quickly, and then if there is in fact a bug, we can work it from there.

On behalf of the SuperSlicer Development and Documentation Teams we thank-you for your continued positive support.
